IMPORTANT INFORMATION FOR PARENTS/CARERS

Health & Safety

  • If anyone in your household becomes unwell with a new, continuous cough or a high temperature, or has a loss of, or change in, their normal sense of taste of smell (anosmia), your child stay at home and self-isolate as advised in the COVID-19: guidance for households with possible coronavirus infection guidance.
  • If anyone in school becomes unwell with a new, continuous cough or a high temperature, or has a loss of, or change in, their normal sense of taste of smell (anosmia), they will be sent home and advised to follow the COVID-19: guidance for households with possible coronavirus infection guidance. This includes obtaining a negative Covid-19 test as soon as possible before returning to school.
  • All children must be accompanied to the school by only one parent/carer
  • Parents/carers must adhere to Social Distancing and follow signage and staff instructions.
  • We will be operating a limited Nurture Hub provision and therefore we will have to ask parents to collect any pupil who is unable to sustain a positive approach to behaviour and learning. This will be followed by a review of the suitability of their future attendance.
  • Children will not be allowed to bring bags into school (except lunch box)
  • On days when PE is to take place children must attend school in suitable PE kit as no changing facilities will be available
  • No PPE will be worn in school by pupils or staff, except in a case of suspected infection (following Government guidance, although this may be subject to change).
  • Gloves and masks are not to be worn in school, if you bring your child wearing these please remove them and take them home until the end of the day.
